This law as created some heated discussions across the city of Guelph lately. Residents have stated that sometimes, you can't "just hold it in." The municipal government says that this law is in the best interest for their citizens, and also the only thing that should water grass...is rain. Some people agree with this law as it can protect people from unwanted precipitation. "It keeps my grass wholesome and healthy" said 40 year-old Guelph man Thurnis Daley. On the other side of the coin, people say that when in an emergency, this law can create some major problems."When I'm stumbling my way back home after a night out (because I'm not allowed to drive) I can't keep it in. The seal has been broken hours ago" says 20 year-old university student Rob Grant. No matter what the ruling, this law will create some heated discussions. It is up to the city to decide what is best for the people.
